I didn't go to get a puppy just let me son see that it's best not to have one. Upon arrival this little girl waved at me, she trapped me with her cute face and loving eyes. I didn't even see other dogs she was coming home. Her home, she is loved by us and she loves us back. Perfect dog - couldn't have ask for anything else.

I came to buy canned dog food. The Small & Medium Breed Puppy Recipe Dog Food 5 oz was priced at $1.99. I was charged $2.99. The cashier also tried explaining to the manager on duty that the canned food was priced incorrectly. The manager on duty would not honor the fact that the dog food was priced incorrectly and would not refund me. The 13 oz cans were priced at $2.99. I bought 5 ounce cans that were priced at $1.99, but I was charged $2.99. Update: I initially had a bad experience with the manager on duty regarding pricing. However, the owner John immediately called me when he saw this review and apologized! I really appreciate the fact that he took out the time to call me and make the issue right! Besides that one incident, my experience with Pet City Houston has been great and my Morkie is doing well! The owner really cares about his customers which is something you don’t find often! Thank you John!

It's always super clean at this pet store 🥰 and once you start looking around you can see that the animals are actually so happy to be there. You can tell they are well taken care of and given plenty of attention! Definitely a nice safe place to purchase your next addition to your family. Lex was very helpful and had so much individual knowledge of every animals personalities, she makes it super personable when choosing the right one. Will definitely choose this place over and over when it comes to buying a new pet.

I come here twice a week just to see all the cool pets and amimal. I love the reptile collection. Being from Ohio we never had pet stores with this many options. So its pretty cool to see the variety of pets to choose from. All different kinds. I normally come to get crickets and mice. Which are always available. The puppies are also very cude and cuddly. I got to hold a puppy 1 time. The workers are more then happy to help customers with their needs. They also offer a nice payment plan for puppies. Im glad this place exist for animal lovers ❤️❤️❤️

Great store! Great staff! I started coming here over 6 months ago. I am able to but healthy feeder rats for my snakes. I have a 26 year old Ball Python named Jake and he is special, I don’t just feed him anything. These rats are clean, healthy, and are handled with care at Pet City. Plus they have cute puppies in the back!

I bought Toasty in October 2025. Toasty is the second dog I purchased from Pet City. The first was a Maltese over 12 years ago. I had no issues both times. Toasty is strong and healthy. He weighs 51 pounds at roughly 9 months. It didn’t take long to crate train him and socialize him with my other pet. He even found another Husky to play with. Satisfied and loyal customer.

This place was an awesome find. They have everything for everything. Reptiles: snakes, chameleons, geckos, turtles, etc. Beautiful an exotic rare saltwater and freshwater fish, an exciting diversity. All kinds of birds and dogs. They have everything you need to set up, feed, and take care of the animals. All workers are knowledgeable in their field in the store. Very good prices in my opinion.
